Arjun is a London-based singer, songwriter and producer. Heavily influenced by the soulful, guitar-based sounds of late 90s R&B, and inspired by the likes of Craig David and Donell Jones, Arjun has developed an organic yet contemporary sound palette that makes him stand out from the current crop of UK R&B artists. Equally comfortable performing solo with acoustic guitar or backed by street dancers, Arjun has become a force to be reckoned with live. He has supported US superstars such as Jagged Edge & Blackstreet, and has performed at prestigious venues all over the world, singing to crowds of over 30,000.
After creating a buzz with his first 4 singles, he has been tipped for success by international media ranging from The Independent (UK) to the Times of India to the LA Times. Arjun’s remix of the Tamil cult hit ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’ racked up over 3 million YouTube views in one month. His remix has since been featured on TV channels around the world, including CNN, NDTV and Star News.
Arjun’s talent was recognized by the Asian music industry last year, when he was nominated as ‘Best Newcomer‘ at the ‘Brit Asia Music Awards 2011’. Earlier this month, two of Arjun’s singles made it into the first ever ‘Asian Beats Chart’ on Kiss TV, selected by a panel of key Asian media figures and Kiss TV officials. His song ‘Stargazer’ was voted the number 2 song by an Asian artist (in recent times), beaten only by the legendary A.R Rahman’s newly formed super group ‘Super Heavy’, which comprises the likes of Mick Jagger & Joss Stone.
Arjun was also recently chosen as one of MTV’s Top 20 Unsigned Acts for 2012, out of thousands of contestants (the MTV ‘Brand New for 2012’ contest has previously featured artists such as Jessie J and Tinie Tempah).
Despite being an independent artist, Arjun’s tracks have gained substantial support from Radio DJ’s around the world. He recently did a live acoustic session on BBC Radio 1 and was subsequently featured on the Radio 1 homepage. His videos have been aired extensively on mainstream UK music channels such as Kiss TV, Flava and Channel AKA, as well as a plethora of Asian channels across the world, including MTV India, B4U and Zee TV. These videos have simultaneously racked up millions of view on YouTube, resulting in a sizeable online following.
Arjun’s Facebook fan page is now over 50,000 strong and growing at a rapid pace. With gig bookings coming in from all over the world, 2012 is already looking very busy!
PRODUCTION
Arjun studied Music Production and Sound Engineering at Point Blank Music College in London. Arjun is a multi-instrumentalist, capable of playing the guitar, piano, bass, drums and flute, on top of singing and beatboxing. This variety truly shows in his work and he has produced music for artists of all genres, including the internationally acclaimed Hindi album by Shivali, ‘The Bhajan Project’ (released by Sony India). The album went on to reach #10 in the iTunes World Music Chart, and was nominated for ‘Best Fusion Album‘ and ‘Best Debut‘ at the ‘Global Indian Music Awards 2011’.

About Katrina Kaif
Katrina Kaif, real name Katrina Turquotte (born 16 July 1984), is a British-Indian actress and a former model who appears in Bollywood films. She has also appeared in regional Indian films.
Kaif made her acting debut in 2003 with Kaizad Gustad's Boom, which bombed at the box office. Later, Kaif made appearances in moderately successful films such as Sarkar (2005) and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya (2005), which helped boost her image in the industry. In 2006, Kaif was largely appreciated for her role as Jia A. Yashvardhan from the film Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, but the film didn't do very well.
It was only in 2007, when Kaif appeared in Vipul Shah's Namastey London, that she started gaining critical acclaim. This was followed with such films as Partner (2007), Welcome (2007), Race (2008), Singh Is Kinng (2008) and New York (2009). Because of her British heritage, she has been seen playing the role of a Non-Resident Indian rather well in several films.
She has since appeared in critically and commercially successful films like Prakash Jha's political thriller Rajneeti (2010) and Zoya Akhtar's dramedy Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011). She took Hindi classes to hone her character in Rajneeti to perfection, which promoted her image as a professional and hard-working actor. In 2010, she was nominated for her first Filmfare Best Actress Award for her portrayal of Maya, a loving wife and friend in New York.
In addition to lead roles, Kaif has also garnered recognition for her item numbers such as "Zara Zara Touch Me" from Race (2008), "Sheila Ki Jawaani" from Tees Maar Khan (2010) and "Chikni Chameli" from Agneepath (2012). Having done so, Kaif has thus established herself as a leading contemporary actress of Bollywood.

Zila Ghaziaba Movie Review
Zila Ghaziabad
Cast: Sanjay Dutt, Vivek Oberoi, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Ravi Kissen, Charmy Kaur, Minissha Lamba
Direction: Anand Kumar
Genre: Thriller
Duration: 2 hours 26 minutes
There's a story too, hold onto your guns. Fauji (Arshad) is dreaded, ruthless and barbaric with his bandook, while Satbir (Vivek) is the ahimsa loving Masterji, the only angrezi speaking man with brainpower in this zila. Over politics, power and foul-play a gruesome gang-war breaks out; Satbir turns goonda-at-gun-point and everyone seeks bloody revenge. Inspector Pritam Singh (Dutt) makes a dramatic entry, throwing in some bone-cracking action and routine Dabanggisms. Phew! There's more, but never mind.
Arshad's first full-blown dark role lacks shades, but effort is evident. Sanjay shows cheeky chutzpah but doesn't seem to care a damn. Vivek displays varied emotions but doesn't quite bite-the-bullet. Paresh Rawal has little scope and Ravi Kissen is average.
Director Anand Kumar lets his story bleed profusely. His redundant revenge drama (inspired from real-life incidents in Ghaziabad) shows absolutely no challenge or purpose. 'ZG' could well belong to a bygone era, with only improvised gravity-defying action scenes in slow-mo and high decibel levels that's exasperating (read: ear-plugs is a must-have). During gun-breaks - which is rare - Dutt throws in one-liners that make you gasp. All lead characters have one song each (gawd!!!), and lastly, for 'mass' effect there are two Ghaziabad ki ranis (read: items girls) to titillate meat-hungry gunmen!
Save yourself a trip to 'ZG'. Visit a re-run of 'GodZILLA' instead!

Short Story
Story: A lethal gang war breaks out in a lawless land where everyone, from commoner to cop is terrorized. There's only one deadly police officer who can control the Gangs-of-Ghaziabad.
Movie Review
Movie Review: Body & Blood Count Warning: Enter 'Zila Ghaziabad' (the movie) at your own bullet-ridden risk. With bullet-proof jackets, reloaded ammo and ready-for-assault - of senses and sensibilities - at the rate of one gunshot every few minutes. Riddled with grotesque characteristics and cliches of most gang-banger films, the set-up is simple - a gaon full of goondas with golis and gaalis (added kohl-eyes and laal tikkas for that dreaded effect. Bachao!)a good cop, a bad cop and few good men. Add to that endless ensemble - unscrupulous politicians, perilous panchayats, chhamiyas in itsy-bitsy cholis and some maa-behens (no pun intended).
